SUNRISE
SUNRISE
Posted by Dana-Maria Onica Wed, Sep 27th 2006, 14:00

the silky night quietly mirror’s a soft moon
till ripples announce sunrise

moving cautiously over bright stars
clouds weep flames on losing you

casting the light of burned desire
a rainbow turns back too soon

"Annual festival of Raksha Bandhan - the word "raksha" signifies protection and "bandhan" is an association signifying an enduring sort of bond. When a woman ties a rakhi around the wrist of her brother she signifies her loving attachement to him."http://www.sscnet.ucla.edu/southasia/Culture/Festivals/Raksha.html. Thank you, Nina.
