This haiku is nearly bordering on being "minimal" yet it has the vast corpora of references to a frog jumping on the moon in the water and dissolving its reflection, so it isn't really minimal at all, but perhaps expects a experienced haiku appreciation. The lack of verbal embellishment and subtle mixing of tenses also brings an immediacy that serves to "dissolve" if I may, the passage of time through the events described here. It is hard to tell how long it was before the frog jumped that the moon dissolved and before it reappeared. It all happens in a fluid space verbally which suits the very perception it is trying to convey. Fantastic!
