This a lovely neo-classical haiku. It has plum petals which are an early Spring kigo. The umbrella also indicates it may be generally raining in this haijin's surrounding season. It expresses a solitary playful sentiment of using this umbrella for something its not intended for ~ to sheild from the falling petals. It's a little brief inner monologue with nature or a quiet intimate joke.
