nobody cares for
flowers' soul
but the florist-
who then will put them
people on the graves
Romanian translation by ion corina. Posted on Sat, Jun 19th 2010, 01:33
nu se-ngrijeşte
de sufletul florilor
decât florarul-
lor cine să le pună
oameni pe morminte

You see Rebba, I played on words. The florist is a man who cares the graves. We put flowers on graves but don't care about their feelings(I like to believe that every thing has something in it; feelings of those people who made them maybe). When a flower dies nobody cares. This is why I sad "who then will put them people on the graves". And of course, the florist is the only human being who makes this sacrifice even though for a moment.
Unfortunately your suggestion of reading changes the meaning.

I think an "as" will clarify your translation! Please check
the following version.

nobody cares for
the flowers' soul
but the florist-
who then will put them
as people on the graves
