മധുരിക്കുന്ന ചക്ക ചുളകളായി
വേര്‍പാടിന്റെ നിഴലുകളില്‍

kaykkunna bandhangalum
madurikkunna chakka chulakalaayi

I think you should retain the "பலாச்சுளையாய்" (jack-fruit peal) metaphor in English too . It will reflect the geography and local colours naturally. This will make the translation more ethnic and closer to the original!

உவர்க்கும் உறவுகளும்
இனிக்கும் பலாச்சுளையாய்
பிரிவின் நிழலில்

the bitter relation
become the sweetest thought
in the shadow of separation

even the bitter relations
become sweet jack-fruit-peals
in the shadow of separation
