I had considered both the possibilities: "koorapurathu" appears etymologically broader so i retained it ! Further, the 'koora' [the roof] was multiple materials asbestos, tin and odu [ tile].

But "ottin purathu" sounds more musical and appropriate from another perspective! I am doubtful myself!
