Fantastic ~ Welcome to WHW Alexander. Rebba I'm strangely moved by this word "safaeda" and its elucidation ~ I will never forget it. Just the other day this word came to me in a flash before I read it here !
'safaeda' is what we call the eucalyptus tree in panjab...it was brought from australia to soak up the water from water logged areas...
its doing great...
but we are getting wiser...it can turn the soil alkaline ~ 'oosar'
i did not realize i use panjabi words too...
thats hindustani for you in its varied splendour !
How does Eucalypt translate into Hindustani?
I'm interested to hear how you've interpreted that.
