Good haiku Marijo. It has a precursor in Issa's "he tolerates / the dragonfly's glare / the Buddha" that enriches it (we have that haiku on our home page) ~ this is also more immediate and playful.

Thanks Shyam for comment. I have two Buddha statues in our patio garden one is bronze and the other is stone. One day I saw two sparrows picking on the bronze statue's head. It was kind of funny so I started jotting down what I saw.
