October evening. The door towards the court is opened. At once something jumps inside. A cricket entered the room. Surprised that I arrived in the room looking for him, he hides himself. All day long I was busy and forgot him. But in the evening, just at eight o' clock he begins to sing:

Next day he got out from his hiding place. I wished to take a photo of him: the first frame was unclear. Finally, I caught him in a paper bag and put him in a shoes box. Next evening he didn't sing any more. I slink some leaves inside, to nourish him. Next morning in the box I found one leaf from which he ate.

He escaped: I thought, he didn't like to live inside, and now he is free. Sorry for the photo.

In the evening, once again his song from the door sash and I enjoyed his concerto:

Seară de octombrie. Uşa înspre curte e deschisă. Ceva sare înăuntru. Un greier intra în cameră. Surprinsă, îl privesc, dar el se ascunde. Ocupată în timpul zilei, uit de el. Dar seara, chiar la ora 8 începe să cânte.

În ziua următoare, el iese din ascunzătoare. Vreau să îl pozez, dar prima încercare e neclară. În sfârşit, îl prind într-un ambalaj şi îl pun într-o cutie de pantofi. În seara următoare, nu mai cânta. Îi strecor câteva frunze pentru a se hrăni. În dimineaţa următoare, în cutie găsesc doar o frunză din care a mâncat.

A scăpat, îmi spun, nu i-a plăcut în cutie, dar acum e liber. Păcat de poză!

Seara, ţârâit din tocul uşii. Mă bucur de concertul lui.
